Terms and conditions

1. Receipt of this booking form by LA Directories Ltd is acceptance of the following terms and conditions.

 

Payment

2. Invoices will be issued upon receipt of the PO or six weeks month prior to the service being delivered, whichever is soonest.

 

Cancellations

3. Cancellations received in writing within –

 

• 10 days of the commencement of the service delivery date will be charged at the full training fee including any expenses already incurred;
• 11-28 days of the commencement of the service delivery date will incur an administration charge equal 20% of the training fee plus the cost of any expenses already incurred by LADL as a result of this booking.

 

4. Substitutions are accepted. LADL understands that sometimes circumstances can compromise plans so alternative delegates are accepted; advance notice is appreciated.

 

Copyright

5. Because the training courses are derived from Crown Copyright Statutory Instruments and Acts of the UK, only the order and design of training material and workshops per course, not their subject content, can be subject to intellectual property rights, which shall vest in LADL.

 

6. The rights shall include all equivalent rights as may be recognised in any jurisdiction, together with any applications or registrations for them and the right to enforce past infringements of them.

 

7. However, LADL will provide the training course material electronically to the attendees with the proviso that the attendees or any other person within the same Local Authority does not transmit the course material electronically or otherwise to a person or organisation outside the Local Authority of which the attendee is in the employ of..

 

Quality

8. LADL undertakes to research and develop training courses to the best of its ability using reasonable skill and care at all times to ensure that the content is accurate and up to date as possible at the time of writing.
9. LADL shall not be liable to the Customer for any loss or damage to the Customer or any third party, or for any other loss or damage arising out of its contractual obligations unless due to the negligence of LADL, or its failure to perform its obligations, in which case the liability of LADL shall be limited to the purchase value of the Service paid by the Customer.
